Wow! After watching Food Inc. I just wanna grow all my food at home! I'm not a huge fan of meat anyways but now I don't want it at all! So I think, well maybe a good salad? Ha! The spinach gets contaminated from the meat packing plants upstream! I learned a lot about corn also, who would have imagined how many products it's in? From what I understood, if the cattle were fed grass for only a couple weeks they would lose most of the e coli in their bodies, yet they are still fed corn due to cost and convenience. Before the meat is packaged it's washed with ammonia? How is that even allowed? Yeah I know I jump around a lot. To find out that the USDA was given the authority to shut down food processing plants which repeatedly produced meat with e coli, and then the food processors sue the USDA and win? WTF?!?! Makes you wonder what the big wigs in the food processing industry eat? Or how they sleep at night? Ok  I think I'm done.

  1. yeah this movie made me want to change the way I eat too!! I don't like how they feed their cattle corn either and I really don't like how the meat is being washed with ammonia, I'm pretty sure that isn't good for us and healthy at all. Lol yes I really want to know what the companies eat too, that would definitely be a good question to ask them!

  2. I definitely agree with you Marc. I think that it is so ridiculous that they can genetically and physically mess with everything we eat, and it is acceptable to you government! I think that I will change my lifestyle after watching this as well. You make a very good point when you talk about what the CEO's of these horrible companies must eat.. honestly! I'm so disappointed in the lack of action our country is making on changing our food habits. Everyone needs to get on board! Good job. :)

  4. This movie also changed the way I eat today as well. I have always tried to eat organic but sometimes I am broke and I just eat what I can afford. It is sad that we have to even worry about healthy things we eat such as spinach. I was a vegetarian when I was a kid until I turned 17 and I started eating meat. After watching this movie I wish I was still a vegetarian :(

  7. Those meats and processed foods really are gnarly! It's scary to think how easy it is for food born illnesses to enter into our body.
